Cheapest Wedding Insurance Not Always Best Value

7th July 2011 by Adam

While everyone in the current financial climate wants to save money where possible, buying the cheapest wedding insurance policy may not be the best value for money for some couples getting married.

Wedding Insurance is designed to protect couples financially if the worst happens. Cheaper policies, unsurprisingly, tend to have a lower level of cancellation cover. If couples do not insure the full cost of their wedding then they will only be able to claim up to the limit of the policy and may be left seriously out of pocket.

Many cheap wedding insurance policies achieve a lower price by sacrificing levels of cover as the table below shows:

Dreamsaver wedding insurance does not cut the levels of cover in order to be the cheapest policy. The Dreamsaver philosophy is to provide great value wedding cover at an affordable price. For the small additional cost, equivalent to the price of a typical wedding magazine, you can be sure that your wedding is protected financially by Dreamsaver, rather than sacrificing cover for your wedding day.

Many of the independent rating websites, such as Which? or Defaqto, either do not rate these cheap wedding insurance policies because they do not meet their minimum cover requirements or give these policies a low score due to the low levels of cover.

Dreamsaver Wedding Insurance costs so little in relation to the overall wedding budget that it makes great value for money when looking for peace of mind on your wedding day.
