Please Note - you will only be able to take out a Dreamsaver Wedding Insurance for your overseas wedding if at least one of the Marrying Couple is a resident of the UK.

In respect of your Wedding Abroad, if you have to cancel due to adverse weather, cover is only available if the booked arrival date is at least 5 days before the wedding.

Don't Forget - you will need certain documents with you if you are a British National getting married Overseas. For example, if you were planning to get married in Santorini, Greece, you would need to contact the local town hall, or 'Dimos', to find out about the marriage laws and the exact documents you would need. But, you will definitely require a 'Certificate of No Impediment' (CNI) to prove you are legally allowed to get married.

To get a CNI, you need to make an appointment at your local register office to give notice of your marriage. It will cost you £35 to give notice and get a CNI.
